Rae Ringel, President
Rae Ringel is a PCC certified executive coach and leadership trainer with an expertise in transforming professional performance of mid-to-senior level management to drive greater business excellence. As President of The Ringel Group, Rae is nationally renowned for her outstanding repertoire of skills and interpersonal acumen.
Rae engages her clients in proven methodologies that promote professional growth on individual, team and organization-wide levels. Her esteemed and varied clientele, which include fortune 500 companies, not-for-profits, U.S. government agencies and entrepreneurial start-ups, have benefited from the profound influence that Rae has had on the vitality and productivity of their improved workforce.
Prior to opening The Ringel Group, Rae was the Director of Professional and Volunteer Development at United Jewish Communities (UJC), a two-billion dollar annual enterprise that provides humanitarian and development assistance around the world. Rae devised an award-winning interactive web-based training program and other inspiring workshops, retreats and conferences to train and educate a national network of over 20,000 professionals and volunteers.
The Ringel Group serves a growing list of executives in U.S. and global corporations. Rae has devoted years to train and coach executives to become more effective managers, better public speakers, enhance their “presence” and help chart a clear course of personal and business growth.

Rae is a sought after facilitator and trainer of facilitation skills for both the private and public sector. The Ringel Group, in cooperation with the Center for Leadership Initiatives, developed and implements a six-month facilitation-training program in the U.S. attended by executives and small business owners from across the U.S. and the Middle East.
Rae is a Phi Beta Kappa Graduate of University of Rochester. She received her Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, and earned her Executive Coaching certification from Georgetown University. She was a recipient of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship. Rae is a mother of four and resides with her husband in Washington D.C.

Karen Siff Exkorn, Founder and President of KAS Consulting Inc.
Karen specializes in custom design, development and delivery of innovative and results-driven corporate training programs and video productions.
For over 20 years, Karen has been committed to creating customized sales and management training programs that meet the specific needs of her clients, which include Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, law firms and non-profit organizations. Some clients include: Sony, GE Capital, Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Radio City Music Hall, Saks, Armani, Ann Taylor, Barneys New York, Louis Vuitton, New York University, American Management Association, Stern School of Business, Sean John and Tommy Hilfiger.
With a background in psychology and the performing arts, Karen is a dynamic and motivational speaker and corporate trainer. She offers large group seminars, small group workshops, and one-on-one coaching and counseling. Her programs and presentations have consistently received outstanding evaluations from participants. Karen is a certified trainer for American Management Association and Anti-Defamation League and appears in Who's Who of American Women.
Karen is the author of The Autism Sourcebook: Everything You Need to Know About Diagnosis, Treatment, Coping and Healing—From a Mother Whose Child Recovered (ReganBooks/HarperCollins 2005). She has appeared on Good Morning America and ABC’s Nightline and has been featured in The New York Times, Town and Country, and TV, radio and publications around the globe.
A graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Karen received her B.A. in Psychology and her M.A. in Performance Studies from the Gallatin School at New York University.
Rob McKinnon, McKinnon & Company, Inc.
Rob writes and speaks on Leadership, and is a Coach and Advisor to CEOs and their executive teams. He focuses on helping leaders improve their effectiveness and, ultimately, the bottom-line growth in their companies. Rob is passionate about his work.
Rob knows the challenges facing leaders at the top. He led companies in a variety of industries – financial services, banking, commercial construction, technology, entertainment, biotech -- for nearly 20 years. He has shepherded organizations through start-up, turned around troubled companies, and infused new vision into established, mature businesses. Having “seen it all,” Rob draws on his experience to help leaders craft tools and solutions unique to their personal style of leadership.
After receiving a degree in Business from Wheaton College, Rob served four years as an Army Armor officer, leading combat-ready forces in Europe. He earned an MBA from the Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, and has completed postgraduate studies in Leadership Coaching at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Rob is a certified facilitator of assessment tools developed by the Center for Creative Leadership, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation.
Mikaela Seligman, MPA, CC
Mikaela is an experienced teacher, facilitator, strategist and leadership coach committed to working with people who want to make valuable contributions to confronting tough problems. She co-founded The OCL Group in 2006 to engage creative approaches to developing leadership; build practices of coaching in organizations; and strengthen knowledge sharing within and across organizations. She currently teaches Leadership in George Mason University’s executive program on Organizational Development and Knowledge Management and serves a client base that includes international and domestic nonprofits, foundations and the public sector. In her earlier career, she served as a Charter Corps Member with Teach for America in Brooklyn, New York, and served on a small team that founded an innovative elementary school in the same community. Following her work in schools, she was a Program Officer in the early years of AmeriCorps, served as Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for the largest coordinator of volunteer services in the Greater Washington region, and was Senior Advisor for Education to Washington DC Mayor Tony Williams. She now lives in San Francisco, California with her husband Ben. They are expecting their first child in September 2008 and anticipate a whole new adventure!
Mikaela has a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government
where she focused on Leadership and served as a Teaching Fellow with Dr. Ronald Heifetz. She also has a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. Her undergraduate degree in Journalism from Boston University prepared her well for a lifetime of inquiry.
Lauren Brownstein, President of PITCH, LLC
Lauren Brownstein has worked in the non-profit community as a fundraiser, educator, and program manager. She has raised millions of dollars for museums, workforce development programs, student support organizations, community centers, and other initiatives. She specializes in
(1) helping grant seekers develop meaningful partnerships with funders and
(2) crafting outstanding grant proposals. She also works with individual donors to help them make philanthropic contributions that reflect their interests and passions.
As a reflection of her commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism, Lauren has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations and volunteers each week with cancer patients at a local hospital.
Lauren earned a Masters in Teaching in Museum Education from the George Washington University and a Bachelors with High Distinction from the University of Virginia.
